I am a New York-based entertainment journalist and author. My research -- much of it done at the fabulous Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts -- resulted in the best-selling books LUCY A TO Z: THE LUCILLE BALL ENCYCLOPEDIA and THE ABC MOVIE OF THE WEEK COMPANION.
I've written four shorter books about what I like to call the Lucyverse: THE LUCILLE BALL QUIZ BOOK (the only one out there), THE LUCY BOOK OF LISTS, THE COMIC DNA OF LUCILLE BALL: INTERPRETING THE ICON, and LUCY IN PRINT. My television tomes include SITCOM QUEENS: DIVAS OF THE SMALL SCREEN and THE TV TIDBITS CLASSIC TELEVISION BOOK OF LISTS.
I tell a children's fable in the Kindle single THE LITTLEST GINGKO, and ventured into fiction with the gay vampire novel KISS KILL: A VAMPIRE'S TALE. I am in the process of republishing KISS ME, KILL ME, the first edition of KISS KILL, spotlighting my dear friend Craig Hamrick's atmospheric photos.
I have worked on print magazines for most of my career, and it remains my favorite medium. Among my favorite positions: Copy Chief @ Computer Shopper; Managing Editor @ Graphic Arts Monthly; Copy Chief @ Martha by Mail, the Martha Stewart Living catalog; Copy Chief @ Soap Opera Weekly; Copy Chief @ Pixie, a fab tween digest; and my current position, Senior Copy Editor @ Soap Opera Digest.
I keep a bottle of Vitameatavegamin by my computer for health and inspiration. ;-)
