How is social media changing news?
We have access to news as soon as it happens, which is excellent for accountability but does de-sensitise us to ever-increasing horrors.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Peter Parker. The guy literally takes pictures of himself for money it's genius.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
I think a journalist is someone that (should) seek out the truth in whatever they are writing about, even if that truth is within themselves.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I have the full adobe suite for my editing work, as well as Logic for music. I am set-up to be a part of a project from beginning to end.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I am always and willing to write, so please if you have something that you think I am suited for send it my way!
What's your favorite drink?
Tea. I love tea. My dream is to have my own print zine about tea. Which is highly unlikely but man what a life that would be.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I love to travel. I currently live in Western Japan so I will often be found scouting out the best place to eat Okonomiyaki.
