Michael Taylor’s Biography

Hi, I'm Michael. As far back as I can remember I've always been a journalist at heart.
Since December 2022 I've been the editor of TheBusinessDesk.com, a business news website and events company.
I got a threat of an injunction on Day Four, and am determined to expose wrong 'uns and fight for the truth.
I worked in academia for five years, and co-founded the MetroPolis think tank at Manchester Metropolitan University, started the Discuss Manchester debate forum in 2013 and had my debut novel 'Death At The Edge' published, which was a finalist in the 2014 Pulp Idol prize.
I've also stood in two elections, I didn't win, obviously, but I learned a lot.
I completed an MSc in political science at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2021 and am writing a book about bad guys and how they get away with it.
