I think it's sad when companies lose their humanity, and I just experienced firsthand how bad this can get. Right before the holidays, I got an email saying my Meta Facebook account was disabled. My first thought: "Must be spam." It wasn't. I'm not a big Facebook user. In the past, I've shared articles I've written and events we've hosted on our company page. Generally business-related information. But one of my daughters has Facebook Messenger Kids. It's how she communicates with family and friends.

I've been watching something interesting happen over the last few months. The whole "AI is going to kill consulting" panic? It's finally dying down. Good. That got old fast. But what's replacing it matters a lot more for your business. Consultants aren't freaking out about survival anymore. They're asking a better question: "Which of us will AI make stronger, and which of us will it turn into commodities?" That's the real deal right now.
