Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, I grew up in the 1980s before household computers became a thing. I typed up school reports on the old beauty.
How is social media changing news?
It's an endless immediate news cycle now. Social media also propagates fake news and that muddies the waters quite a bit.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Key word is fictional...Sean Hannity and the cast of clowns at Fox News all make terrific Batman villains.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be committed to truth, to be an ambassador of progress, and to shed light where there is darkness.

What's your favorite social network?
I utilize Facebook & Twitter. Facebook has a potentially larger reach; however, Twitter is more conversational.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
CHW broke the story that Matt & Jeff Hardy would wrestle at WM 33. Every other wrestling news site reported otherwise & were wrong.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep your head up. Pay no attention to haters. Move ever forward in pursuing and perfecting your craft.

Spending time with my wife and our children.

I cherish and miss the old wrestling print magazines, which I collect. I still subscribe to PWI & love anything by Bill Apter.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
President Trump has added to the false perception that the news is fake. We go through great lengths in pursuit of truth.
