1 INTRODUCTION Research on personality and motivation has identified guilt proneness as a predictor of constructive tendencies, high motivation, and commitment. These associations make guilt proneness a key characteristic of driven individuals, dependable teammates, and effective leaders (Cohen et al., 2016; Schaumberg & Flynn, 2012).
