Michal Mitchell’s Biography

I have worked as a writer, editor and correspondent with a demonstrated history of working in the online media industry. I have interviewed several celebrities including: Oscar-nominated actress Toni Collette, Oscar-winning director Alan Ball, "Avengers" actor Paul Bettany, rock & roll legend Klaus Meine from the band Scorpions, Dallon Weekes from Panic! at the Disco & iDKHOW, actor Stephen Root, and classic reggae band UB40 among others. I graduated from the University of Utah in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree in English and still continue to write creatively and professionally.

Writing for several online magazines, I have focused my writing in music and film, two fields I am extremely passionate about. While also expanding to fashion and lifestyle articles as well.

I started, and regularly write for, my poetry column: "10 Minute Poetry" on HerCampus.com. There, I write an original poem, with nothing but a given title, in ten minutes.
