What was your first job as a journalist?
In fact, my first job as a journalist was as a staff writer at MILENIO-La Afición; I started there in 2016 and I am still there today, having grown into the roles of reporter and co-editor

Yes, I actually used a typewriter back in high school.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
To me, journalism is about being a witness to history—telling the stories that need to reach the public while prioritizing the truth above all other things.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I enjoy covering current events by diving into data and validating the facts through live sources.

Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist because writing and working in this field has always been my goal.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Covering the Super Bowl is always a highlight for me, but Super Bowl LIX was particularly special because I got to witness my favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, my team since 2005, take the victory.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
If you want to be a journalist, my advice is simple: read as much as you can, stay constantly informed by diverse sources—particularly those in your niche—and keep a close eye on multiple media outlets.
