Unfortunately, it's giving credit to 'influencers' who have never taken the time to learn their craft.

As much as I understand that social media is necessary in this day and age, I think it's best to communicate on the phone or face-to-face.
Why did you become a journalist?
To continue educating myself and others. Everyday is an opportunity to learn something new.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Medical stories.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Make sure you do your research.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Weekday mornings.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
When PR companies pitch me the same subject right AFTER I wrote about it because they ALREADY had pitched me.
What's your favorite drink?
Wine & Champagne.

In my garden.
