Abstract Haptic sciences and technologies benefit greatly from comprehensive datasets that capture tactile stimuli under controlled, systematic conditions. However, existing haptic datasets collect data through uncontrolled exploration, which hinders the systematic analysis of how motion parameters influence tactile perception.

Abstract Swarm robotics holds significant potential for executing complex tasks that surpass the capabilities of individual robots. However, when robots have limited sensing abilities, their actions can be obstructed by unknown obstacles in the environment, thereby constraining this potential. To address this limitation, we propose a novel swarm robot controller that enables obstacle avoidance without sensors for detecting obstacles.
