What was your first job as a journalist?

Covering commercial real estate in Philadelphia.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

In D minor accompanied by mandolin, or barring that, email.

What's your favorite social network?

The bonobos of the Congo basin seem to have it pretty figured out.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes. I put many "terms" in "quotes," which was "house style" at the time.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Don't die of exposure.
