Mike ODell McCook Gazette McCOOK, Neb. - The McCook City Council on Monday approved the issuance and sale of up to $26 million in Municipal Improvement Bonds, completing the final phase of a financing strategy that has funded construction of the citys youth sports complex and related infrastructure improvements.

McCOOK, Neb. - In a conversation with Amanda Engell, Director of Housing Development at the McCook Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), Engell updated the Gazette on progress at the St. Catherines Hospital/Apartment project. Engell reported that the MEDC is still waiting to hear whether St. Catherines will receive an EPA Brownfields grant award.
