PSV sends Ajax warning shot for 21/22 Eredivisie
Editor’s note: World Soccer Talk writer Mike Tyrrell looks ahead and shares his PSV Eindhoven season preview. PSV Eindhoven, led by Noni Madueke, routed Ajax 4-0 last Saturday in the annual season curtain-raiser, the Johan Cruyff Shield (Dutch-equivalent to the English Community Shield). A first-half brace from Madueke followed by second-half strikes from substitute Yorbe Vertessen and Mario Götze condemned Ajax to their worst defeat against a domestic opponent since January 2019.
Qatar impresses in Gold Cup but unease still exists about country hosting World Cup
On Thursday, Qatar was defeated in the Concacaf Gold Cup semifinal to the United States. Despite the loss, the Qatar national team impressed a lot of neutrals during the tournament with their positive, attacking play and fast pace. With the World Cup taking place in Qatar next year, the semifinal provided the U.S. with an early introduction to opponents in the first-ever match between the two countries.

Brian had a vision for how the online advertising market was going to evolve and believed that building highly scaled services for both sides of the industry – publishers that want to sell ads and marketers who want to buy them – would enable a more efficient and cost-effective marketplace.
What sustainable investors want
IR managers tend to regard SRI investors with a mixture of horror and enthusiasm. The horror comes from the interminable questionnaires and impenetrable ratings systems. The enthusiasm comes from the fact that SRI investors tend to be long-term stock holders who show the depth of interest in a company’s long-term strategy that IROs wish was true of all their investors.
From Apple to Volkswagen: the companies SRI investors want to meet in 2016
