[2610.21927] On the exact quantization of BCOV Theory on Calabi-Yau Manifolds
We announce the solution of constructing perturbative quantum BCOV invariants on arbitrary Calabi-Yau manifolds. In this note, we outline the construction and present an explicit solution. The quantization includes all descendant fields and all loop orders, and expresses the quantum BCOV interaction by an explicit integration over the moduli space of marked Riemann surfaces.

Robust cement-graphite thick electrode enables high-performance molten salt aluminum batteries
Abstract Molten-salt aluminum batteries are promising for grid-scale energy storage, leveraging the abundance and recyclability of aluminum along with the intrinsic safety, non-flammability, and high ionic conductivity of chloroaluminate electrolytes. However, conventional polymeric binders lack stability in high-temperature, corrosive molten-salt environments, leading to electrode structural degradation and premature battery failure.
Localized surface plasmon resonance-based point-of-care testing for pediatric sepsis
Abstract Sepsis is a leading cause of child mortality worldwide, yet conventional diagnostic methods are too slow for time-critical management. This review examines the emerging role of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) technology in developing point-of-care testing (POCT) platforms for pediatric sepsis. We outline the clinical need for rapid, accurate diagnostics, then explain the physical principles of LSPR that enable label-free, sensitive detection of biomolecular interactions.
Copper-catalysed site-selective arylation of pyrazoles
Abstract A major challenge in late-stage functionalization is the selective N-arylation of unsymmetric pyrazoles, five-membered heterocycles with two adjacent nitrogen atoms, which are prevalent in blockbuster medicines and bioactive molecules. Traditional cross-coupling methods usually favour one type of regioisomer, limiting access to complementary structures that could accelerate drug discovery and streamline structure–activity relationship studies.

Slope Stability Analysis Considering Degradation of Soil Properties Induced by Intermittent Rainfall
1. Introduction Arising from global climate change, extreme rainfall incidents are observed in geotechnical slope engineering [1,2,3,4,5,6,7]. Rainfall may deteriorate slope stability and, further, lead to landslides, avalanches and other undesirable consequences on slopes, which pose great threats to residents and infrastructure [8,9]. Therefore, a comprehensive study of the effect of rainfall on slope stability is necessary for sustainable geotechnical engineering.

Copper-Catalyzed Hydroamination: Enantioselective Addition of Pyrazoles to Cyclopropenes
Chiral N-cyclopropyl pyrazoles and structurally related heterocycles are prepared using an earth-abundant copper catalyst under mild reaction conditions with high regio-, diastereo-, and enantiocontrol. The observed N2:N1 regioselectivity favors the more hindered nitrogen of the pyrazole. Experimental and DFT studies support a unique mechanism that features a five-centered aminocupration.

Organic‒inorganic semi-interpenetrating networks with orthogonal light- and magnetic-responsiveness for smart photonic gels - Nature Communications
Abstract Living matter has the ability to perceive multiple stimuli and respond accordingly. However, the integration of multiple stimuli-responsiveness in artificial materials usually causes mutual interference, which makes artificial materials work improperly. Herein, we design composite gels with organic‒inorganic semi-interpenetrating network structures, which are orthogonally responsive to light and magnetic fields.
