Reversible six-electron tellurium redox enabled by selenium-modulated hypervalent activation in aqueous sodium/zinc hybrid batteries
Abstract Aqueous hybrid sodium-ion batteries hold promise as next-generation electrochemical storage due to intrinsic safety and low cost. However, they are limited by specific energy and cycle lifespans. Here, we unlock multielectron tellurium redox chemistry in the aqueous system by coupling in situ hypervalent oxidation with selenium solid-solution modulation.

Efficient Dynamics Modeling and Adaptive Tracking Control for a Rigid‐Flexible Manipulator
Vibration suppression and trajectory tracking are pivotal areas of current robotics research, significantly influencing the operational performance of flexible manipulators. This article proposes a novel dynamics modeling strategy for flexible manipulators based on the multi-body system transfer matrix method, which achieves comparable accuracy to the traditional Lagrange method while improving computational efficiency by approximately 35.5% and 35.9% in two representative cases, respectively.

A Piecewise Linearization Based Method for Crossed Frequency Admittance Matrix Model Calculation of Harmonic Sources
1. Introduction With the transformation of energy structure and the promotion of new power system construction, the application of power electronic equipment in generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption has become increasingly widespread [1,2,3]. As typical nonlinear loads in power systems, the operating characteristics of power electronic equipment lead to distortion of voltage and current waveforms, making harmonic issues more complex [4,5].

Neutrophil extracellular traps aggravate neuronal endoplasmic reticulum stress and apoptosis via TLR9 after traumatic brain injury - Cell Death & Disease
Abstract Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and ER stress-mediated apoptosis play an important role during secondary brain damage after traumatic brain injury (TBI). Increased neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) formation has been demonstrated to be associated with neurological damage after TBI. However, the correlation between ER stress and NETs remains unclear, and the specific function of NETs in neurons has not been defined.
Analysis of Changes in Vegetation Carbon Storage and Net Primary Productivity as Influenced by Land-Cover Change in Inner Mongolia, China
Abstract : Exploring the influence of vegetation carbon stocks over land-cover change and the relationship between land-cover change and net primary production (NPP) is of great practical importance for achieving China’s carbon neutrality target.
Effect of Red and Blue Light on Cucumber Seedlings Grown in a Plant Factory
Abstract : Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) have been regarded as the best artificial source of light for a plant factory. However, the effect of light quality on seedling production in such environments requires further study.
Abstract Background In order to avoid excessive treatment of thyroid nodules in the clinic, it is necessary to find a simple and practical analysis method to comprehensively and accurately reflect benign or malignant thyroid nodules. This study aimed to construct and validate a comprehensive and reliable network-based predictive model using a variety of imaging and laboratory criteria for thyroid nodules to stratify the risk of malignancy prior to surgery.

A Cold Arena? Greenland as a Focus of Arctic Competition
Recent questions over the extent of China’s ambitions for Greenland deserve close scrutiny. By Mingming Shi and Marc Lanteigne for The Diplomat June 10, 2019 Last week’s announcement that the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) would be withdrawing its bid for a contract to refurbish and expand airports in Greenland, specifically at the capital, Nuuk and at Ilulissat, has seemingly brought an end to an especially thorny political saga in the Arctic.
China Steps up Its Mining Interests in Greenland
By Marc Lanteigne and Mingming Shi for The Diplomat February 12, 2019 A major component of China’s expanding interests in the Arctic, as outlined in Beijing’s January 2018 White Paper on the region, has been the development of joint ventures on resource extraction, including fossil fuels and raw materials.
The (Many) Roles of Greenland in China’s Developing Arctic Policy
Since China began to deepen its engagement with the Arctic region over the past decade, culminating in the publication of the country’s first White Paper on the region in January this year, much global attention regarding Chinese Arctic interests has centered on Sino-Russian cooperation, including joint ventures in Siberian fossil fuel development and the opening of the Northern Sea Route to Chinese cargo traffic.
China Stakes Its Claim to the Arctic
After a long period of speculation, the government of China released its first White Paper on the Arctic on January 26. The document, entitled “China’s Arctic Policy” (?????????), was introduced by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kong Xuanyou at a Beijing press conference hosted by the country’s State Council Information Office.
