Denoising of deep-tow magnetic anomalies based on discrete wavelet transform
Abstract Deep-tow magnetic surveys deploy magnetometers close to the seafloor to obtain high-spatial-resolution magnetic anomaly data, yet such datasets are inevitably contaminated by complex noise. This study adopts the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) to denoise deep-tow magnetic data and systematically evaluates the denoising performance of four wavelet families (Haar, Daubechies, Symlet, and Coiflet).
A health-score-based framework for quality assessment and spatial reconstruction of rainfall monitoring data in reservoir watersheds
Abstract Reliable rainfall records are essential for flood forecasting, reservoir operation and water resource management, yet automatic rain-gauge networks often contain persistent fixed values, long data gaps, isolated spikes and short peaks without realistic recession behavior. We present a model-driven framework for diagnosing and reconstructing rainfall monitoring data from the 100-station Meishan Reservoir network in Anhui, China.

Monitoring and prediction of land use changes along expressways based on random forest and CA-Markov models: a case study of the Rongwu Expressway
Abstract To address the challenge of accurately capturing small-scale land use changes induced by highway construction, this study integrates the Random Forest algorithm with the CA-Markov model to conduct a fine-scale monitoring and simulation analysis. Focusing on the reconstruction and expansion section of the Rongwu Expressway (Yantai-Penglai segment) in Shandong Province, we utilized high-resolution Sentinel-2 remote sensing imagery to classify land use changes from 2020 to 2025.
Multi-objective optimization for backpressure forming of thin-walled complex scrolls via a hybrid PSO-BPNN, NSGA-III, and TOPSIS framework
Abstract Backpressure forming is essential for precision forming of thin-walled complex scrolls by applying a controllable counter-pressure to regulate inhomogeneous material flow. However, the process involves strong thermo-mechanical coupling effects, and there exists a highly nonlinear relationship between the numerous process parameters and the forming quality, posing significant challenges to achieving stable and consistent part quality.
Staged screw removal in external plate fixation for distal tibial fractures: a finite element study on adaptive biomechanics
Abstract High-energy distal tibial fractures present treatment challenges due to poor soft tissue coverage and risk of delayed union. External locking plates offer stability while preserving biology, yet the optimal strategy to dynamically modulate fixation rigidity in accordance with healing progression remains unclear. We constructed finite element models of a comminuted distal tibial fracture incorporating callus at four healing stages (0, 1, 3, and 6 months).

Functional validation using a zebrafish model reclassifies the rare COL1A2 p.Gly418Ala variant as a cause of Osteogenesis Imperfecta
Abstract Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a genetically heterogeneous skeletal dysplasia mainly caused by mutations in the COL1A1 and COL1A2 genes, which encode type I collagen. Here, using whole-exome sequencing(WES), we identified a rare heterozygous missense mutation (c.1253G > C, p.Gly418Ala) in COL1A2 in a Chinese family with recurrent prenatal skeletal dysplasia.
Involucrasins Potentially Prevents SARS-CoV-2 Infection via Inhibiting Caspase-1 Signaling in Several Variants
1 Introduction The global persistence of COVID-19, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), continues to be exacerbated by the ongoing emergence of Variants of Concern (VOCs) characterized by enhanced transmissibility, altered pathogenicity, and the capacity to evade host immune surveillance and antiviral interventions, including vaccines [1].
WMambaFuse: an infrared and visible image fusion network based on wavelet mamba
Abstract Infrared and visible image fusion aims to generate a fusion image that integrates complementary information from both modalities. Current deep learning-based methods often exhibit a limitation: networks that focus on spatial-domain features usually neglect the detail-enhancing potential of frequency-domain information, whereas purely frequency-domain approaches struggle to maintain semantic coherence with spatial structures. To address this, we propose a novel and efficient fusion model.

Increased plant productivity exacerbates subsoil carbon losses under warming via nitrogen mining - Nature Geoscience
Abstract Soils can be either a source or sink of atmospheric CO2 depending on how soil organic carbon (SOC) responds to climate warming and changes in plant productivity. Whereas warming typically accelerates SOC decomposition, the effect of plant productivity changes remains unclear. Here we use a space-for-change substitution approach to analyse a global dataset of SOC measurements down to 1 metre.
Whole‐Profile Soil Carbon Responses to Climate Change Modulated by Vertical Carbon Transport and Priming Effect Gradients
1 Introduction The balance of soil organic carbon (SOC) across an entire soil profile is shaped by the integrated effects of carbon inputs and outputs within specific soil layers (Graven, 2016; Gunina & Kuzyakov, 2022). In any given soil layer, carbon inputs include plant root litter, exudates, and SOC that has been vertically transported from neighboring layers (Rumpel & Kögel-Knabner, 2010).
