What was your first job as a journalist?
I have always worked independently, but I learned how to gather information and data properly from working as an Legal Receptionist.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. I had one when I was a teenager, which was many moons ago. Loved the experience.
How is social media changing news?
It's not. People read the headlines and the metadata and then construct an opinion these days.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
I don't have one.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means being the eyes and ears of the collective and providing a fair and balanced and honest assessment of what we are seeing and hearing.

Email.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use tools such as Google/Bing for research. I love my Mac. I also have a windows computer that handles all of my radio/podcast work.

Who do you wish followed you?
People that want to put their thinking caps on and have a longer attention span than most.
Why did you become a journalist?
I don't consider myself a journalist yet. I just observe, report and discuss.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not. I was in the poetry club.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I would say my piece about Dox culture in social media.

Don't be first, but don't be the last.

I am always connected to some kind of device, sadly.

That I am mean. No, the truth is not nice at all sometimes.
