I was the designer for the 4-H newspaper serving Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas during my junior and high school years.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The Barbara Jordan Media Awards. My great-grandparents are deaf. A deaf man won for his Capitol exhibit about a deaf Texas Revolution spy.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Please refrain from doom and gloom and/or dumbing down.
