Okay, we’ve got a bit of a good news/bad news situation here. Good news first: Without hyperbole, Avatar Legends is one of the most fun fighting games I’ve ever played. There’s something special about the way these characters move, the variety in their playstyles, their incredible animations, the flexibility of their combat options, and the satisfying ways they can execute some of the sickest combos I’ve ever seen.

격투 게임계에 불어온 신선한 에어벤딩. 게시일: 2026년 7월 22일 11:00 오후 좋은 소식과 나쁜 소식이 있다. 과장 없이 말해, 아바타 레전드: 더 파이팅 게임은 필자가 지금까지 즐겨본 격투 게임 중 손에 꼽을 정도로 재미있다. 캐릭터들의 역동적인 움직임, 다채로운 플레이 스타일, 훌륭한 애니메이션, 유연한 전투 선택지, 그리고 입이 떡 벌어지는 화려한 콤보를 구사할 때의 쾌감까지 모든 면이 각별하다. 여러모로 아바타: 아앙의 전설 팬들이 마땅히 누려야 할 완성도를 갖췄으며, 코어 격투 게임 팬들이 최근 갈증을 느껴온 정통 1대1 대전 격투의 정수를 보여준다. 하지만 나쁜 소식도 있다. 이러한 훌륭한 게임플레이가 무색할 정도로 외적인 완성도는 놀라울 만큼 부실하다. 싱글 플레이에서 AI 난이도를 조절할 수 없는 것은 물론, 기본 기능조차 빠진 불편한 훈련 모드, 단 두 명만 입장 가능한 로비 등 단점을 꼽자면 끝이 없다.
