Highlights • Neutrophil adhesion to the vascular endothelium in the femoral artery of low-density lipoprotein receptor–null mice fed with HFD was significantly enhanced compared with wild-type mice fed with HFD or low-density lipoprotein receptor–null mice fed with NC. • HFD induced citrullinated histone H3 of neutrophils in LDL receptor–null mice through the up-regulation of CXCL1 in blood.
