BOSA candidate killed in Gugulethu, political violence concerns grow

A Build One South Africa (BOSA) candidate was shot dead, and another was injured in Gugulethu during the voter registration weekend. Three other political candidates in Cape Town were killed on Saturday evening. The violence has raised concerns over the election period later this year. Leon Ngcikwe was one of the political candidates gunned down on Saturday evening as the first voter registration day came to an end. He was a ward candidate for Build One SA in Gugulethu.

Cosatu calls on government to tackle ‘economic crisis’
