5. Discussion Considering the environmental implications, such as soil degradation and accumulation of pollutants due to the effect of chemical fertilizer application, it is imperative to manage agricultural soils for sustainable productivity by promoting beneficial microorganisms in the rhizosphere and provide a basis for reducing the application of chemical fertilizers. Healthy soils are essential for sustainable crop production.
