1. Introduction Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a spiral, Gram-negative, rod, curved, microaerophilic bacteria. It has multiple flagella, which play a crucial role in its motility and invasion mechanisms [1]. It was discovered in the human stomach in 1982 by Marshall and Warren, earning them the Nobel Prize for Medicine [1]. Typically, H. pylori infections are acquired during childhood and persist throughout life. It can cause chronic gastritis and gastroduodenal ulcers.
