Introduction Corrugated boards have become highly important in the packaging industry due to their lightweight, cost-effective nature and excellent ability to provide protection and cushioning during transportation [1,2,3]. In 2021, the global corrugated board market was valued at USD 199.8 billion, with projections estimating a rise to USD 254.5 billion by 2026, driven by a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 5.0% [1,4,5,6].
