The administration is restoring the federal program that provides emergency crisis support for LGBTQ+ youth at risk of suicide, but it may end up excluding the organization that established the program in the first place. The Trevor Project, the nation’s leading nonprofit focused on suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth, worked with the federal government in 2022 to add an option for youth calling the 988 hotline to press 3 and reach counselors trained to work with LGBTQ+ young people.

At Flags for Good, there’s no month like Pride Month. “Our year is built around Pride,” founder Michael Green tells LGBTQ Nation. “That’s our Christmas.” The company, which donates one dollar to related charities for every flag, pin, or patch sold, launched in 2020 to sell exclusively Black Lives Matter flags. But when Green decided he wanted to secure the business long-term, he says it was obvious what to add next: Pride flags. He was right.
