A convicted sex offender is out of jail, thanks to the lucky streak of his mother who won the $15.25 million Lotto Texas jackpot. Jason Wayne Carlile has twice been convicted of sex offenses involving children - indecency with a child in 1994 and sale or purchase of a 15-year-old girl in 2006, according to the Wichita Falls Times Record News. He served a three-year sentence beginning in 2007 and is required to register as a sex offender until 2020.
