With the ongoing FIFA World Cup taking place here in the U.S, there have been plenty of conversations surrounding our top athletes and the sports they choose to play. Especially now that the United States Men’s team has been eliminated. To begin, I want to state that I have no real knowledge of soccer. Although I am currently trying to become more of a fan. I have picked Arsenal as my Premier League club. My wife played throughout high school, and her brother played in college.

Since the news broke surrounding former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold, many fans began to wonder how the team would address the loss. Prior to that situation completely unfolding, Lions general manager Brad Holmes and the rest of his staff spent plenty of resources addressing the overall depth of the secondary. Still, losing Arnold, who was projected by many to be the other starting outside cornerback opposite of D.J. Reed, stings quite a bit. So where does Detroit go from here?
