Who is Best Buy? Best Buy is the largest electronics retailer in North America, operating over 1,000 stores, distribution centers, and healthcare facilities across multiple clouds and data centers. Their mission is to enrich people’s lives through technology. As Best Buy launched their third-party Marketplace and Best Buy Ads businesses—expanding partnerships with new vendors—the network backbone needed improvements in resilience, performance, and security.

In the Retail and Healthcare industries, critical connectivity through highly resilient networks are required to serve customers and run operations. Customers in these sectors often need to connect their corporate enterprise networks to stores, contact centers, distribution centers, or in the case of Best Buy Health: customer care contact centers.

Retail customers are improving the in-store customer experience through personalization by connecting their remote stores to AWS using SD-WAN. For the largest specialty consumer electronics retailer in North America, Best Buy Co., Inc., connecting stores to cloud-based workloads has shortened application response times.
