OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - An Omaha man will spend more than 19 years in federal prison on drug charges. Philip Ausherman was sentenced for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. The U.S. Attorney's Office says a source from Mexico supplied Ausherman with the drug. Prosecutors say the same source supplies methamphetamine throughout Omaha and Council Bluffs. Ausherman was arrested last year after a Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputy pulled him over.

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A local man is accused of vandalizing statues at Pioneer Courage Park in downtown Omaha. The park spans six city blocks in downtown Omaha and features more than 100 statues. A witness told First Alert 6 that the suspect targeted the faces of female statues, allegedly because he was upset with his girlfriend. Three statues were found with damage. Court records indicate the 42-year-old arrested told officers he used a brick on the statues.
