An international student studying carpentry in Australia has received an outpouring of support after she offered a rare, candid look at the physical reality of working as a tradie in a social media video, admitting she initially regretted choosing the course and feeling she was “going to die”. The student with the username ‘maxliveinau’ posts about her life in Australia on Instagram and recently shared a two-minute video documenting her experience working on a landscaping job.
