LinkedIn and Instagram have for days been a lamefest of spiels (much of them AI-generated) in Karl's defence, his condemnation, or just as a tangential sales hook. Good morning from gay Paris! My major take-out from the Qantas investor and media briefing in Toulouse last week is that the airline is preparing to bring forward the retirement of its A380 fleet, previously pinned to the "early 2030s". Confirmation could come as early as Qantas' full-year result on August 27.
