Mukul Devichand

Mukul Devichand is the creator and series producer of BBC Trending across TV, video, online and radio. He also presents the BBC Trending's weekly radio programme on the BBC World Service. His background is in current affairs journalism. He started his career in Cairo and then moved to New York City, where he directed his first investigative dcumentary which aired on ABC News. He returned to London in 2004, joining the BBC on Panorama where he worked for three years, He then started producing and presenting flagship BBC radio series such as Crossing Continents and Analysis, as well as spending time in the Delhi bureau as a news producer. He has reported from countries all over the world for the BBC. He pitched BBC Trending in 2013, building up the team and producing multiplatform output.
