Antibiotic-resistant bacteria clinical isolates found in AP patients Overall, Gram-positive bacteria were found to be resistant to more antibiotics tested than Gram-negative bacteria. The AST results showed that the Streptococcus and Staphylococcus genera were resistant to most of the antibiotics tested in this study (7 out of 19 types of antibiotics) (Fig 2).
