I'm a Los Angeles-based reporter for Courthouse News Service, a national media outlet. I cover federal court cases most days - one of the cases I'm following is Stormy Daniels v Trump/Cohen - but I also sneak away to write about how communities across SoCal are wrestling with gentrification. I occasionally write about science and the environment. Northeast LA is where I rest my head but Chicago will always be home for me.
