The Auburn Plainsman — An Opelika City Schools faculty member has been arrested on a charge of soliciting a sex act with a student under the age of 19, which is a Class A misdemeanor. Detectives from the Opelika Police Department arrested Montre Learius Battle, 37, on Feb. 16, according to a press release from the OPD.
