South African Flying 15 National Championship 2024 at Henley Midmar Yacht Club by Myles White 22 Nov 00:38 PST With the water quality in Durban Harbour remaining foul and making launching of Flying Fifteen's a significant health hazard, it was decided to relocate much of the fleet one hour inland to Midmar Dam, thus exchanging the country's best offshore sailing waters for the best fresh-water sailing on offer.

Jets add four coaches to 2017 staff
The Jets have added four coaches to their staff for the 2017 season, hiring Jeremy Bates (quarterbacks coach), Mick Lombardi (assistant quarterbacks coach), Jason Vrable (offensive assistant) and Joe Giacobbe (strength and conditioning assistant), the team announced on Wednedsay. Bates held the same position with the Jets in 2005 under then-head coach Herm Edwards. He was the Chicago Bears QBs coach in 2012 but was not retained and has been out of the NFL since.
Jets sign free agent Jeff Adams
New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles confirmed he knew former offensive coordinator Chan Gailey would be retiring after two seasons and said he has a general idea of who will replace him. "I knew when I hired him he was doing two years," Bowles said, according to NJ.com's Darryl Slater. "We talked about it.
Jets open at 75/1 odds to win Super Bowl LII
The Jets have opened at 75/1 odds to win Super Bowl LII, according to a list released by Bovada sportsbook in Las Vegas. Among the Jets' AFC East rivals, the Patriots -- at 5/1 -- have the best odds in the NFL. The Dolphins have 50/1 odds, while the Bills opened at 66/1. Only the Bears (100/1), Browns, and 49ers (both at 150/1) have worse odds than the Jets. The Jets finished 5-11 this past season, missing the playoffs for the sixth-straight time.
Jets LB Lee says he's OK following incident at Ohio bar
Darron Lee, the New York Jets' promising young linebacker and their first-round pick in last year's draft, says he is OK after being attacked in a bar in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday night. The 22-year-old explained the incident in some detail on Monday in a video posted to his Twitter account, in which he showed off a bruise under his right eye and what he said were "bumps all around my head." He insisted he was attacked without provocation and he had no idea by whom.
Super Bowl LI Preview: Patriots or Falcons?
Player to watch: Falcons QB Matt Ryan. One way or another, it's going to come down to this: Can Ryan, untested on this stage, out-play Tom Brady and make the big play in the big spot, probably in the fourth quarter. Yes, there have been exceptions, but it almost always comes down to quarterback play in the Super Bowl, especially in the modern, pass-happy era. It's been that way in just about every Super Bowl the Patriots have played in. Just ask Eli Manning, who twice showed Brady how it was done.
Marshall upbeat about Petty and Hackenberg
A year after lobbying the Jets to re-sign Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brandon Marshall may be "retired" from offering his quarterback suggestions, but that doesn't mean he won't offer his thoughts on the Jets quarterbacks. And when it comes to the two young ones on the current roster, the veteran receiver apparently likes what he's seen.
