Dengue virus (DENV) is a mosquito-transmitted member of the Flavivirus genus that causes dengue fever, which is a widespread and pressing global health issue. It is categorized into four distinct serotypes (DENV-1 to DENV-4), each of which has the potential to trigger severe complications, including dengue shock syndrome (DSS) and dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF).

Despite many successful therapeutic outcomes, no effective HCV vaccines are currently available. Focusing on T cell activity, the primary effector for HCV clearance, T cell epitopes of HCV (TCE-HCV) are considered promising elements to accelerate HCV vaccine efficacy.
