EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — The Eastern Produce Council held its annual Tailgate Dinner Sept. 19, here, at MetLife Stadium, home to the Giants and Jets of the National Football League. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the stadium, including the field and press box, before festivities kicked off with a cocktail hour and dinner, followed by an inspirational talk by former New York Giants Linebacker Mark Herzlich.
The New England Produce Council’s 23rd Annual Produce, Floral & Foodservice Expo took place Aug. 21-22 at Encore Boston Harbor, and as always, included an incomparable lineup of speakers and more than 100 produce and floral exhibitors showcasing their products. This was the first time the event took place at this venue.
Produce professionals from throughout the industry gathered in Manhattan for the New York Produce Show & Conference. The event offered attendees networking opportunities and educational micro-sessions. Industry members packed the Javits Center Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the one-day trade show.
