It was a Sunday afternoon when I received the call from my mom. She usually checked in on the weekends to catch up. I miss those calls from my mother, as she passed a few years back, but it’s the memories you hold onto. There is one memory I recall vividly. I had been reading Louise Hay’s book You Can Heal Your Life, about the power of the spoken word, and our ability to change our lives by changing our thoughts and words. The Right Use of Will: Beyond Willfulness
Too much will? Not enough will? Most of us know how to bungee cord jump between the two. What is will? Do we possess it? Is it something to use? Does it govern me? Is it my ego? Is it a universal energy? Is it trainable? Can I harness my will power? Do I have free will? Wisdom teachings of the ancient traditions tell us we have a storehouse of energy inside our solar plexus—energy that can be harnessed, trained, and directed. Many refer to this energy as our Center of Will.
Angels
I don’t recall when I realized that I could ask the angels for their help, but when I did, it seemed that they were always ready to assist me. This may be a new concept for you, so try to be open-minded. When you ask for their assistance with pure intent, they help you every time. It’s truly amazing. I have many stories about angels and how I came to believe. Here’s a cute one: My husband and I landed in Detroit Metropolitan Airport late one evening. We caught the shuttle to pick up our rental car.
Searching for the Key to Happiness?
There have been many songs written about love. The Beatles tune “All You Need is Love” is one that often comes to mind when I think of how many people are searching for fulfillment. It seems we are all searching for happiness in our materialistic world. If you search long enough, you will realize that love is what you’re looking for. As I am out and about connecting with people, I don’t see many smiles on people’s faces. Why is this?

They are mentioned nearly three hundred times throughout the Bible. The Archangel Michael and the Angel Raphael are mentioned by name. Although much has been written about angels throughout time, we don’t seem to acknowledge their presence. However, I believe that we all have a guardian angel that helps us with our life’s challenges.

Live Like You Have an Expiration Date
We live every day not knowing what our expiration date is. We probably don’t attach enough importance to this fact, but we all have one. I find it quite interesting that people seem to go through life with the mindset that they will live forever in this body. We go about our days doing things and saying things off the cuff. Would you do or say things differently if you knew that it was your last day here on earth?
