The Select Board continued a discussion on how to award eight rental car medallions on Monday after acting airport manager Preston Harimon informed members of town administration that the airport “does not have open space” for another car rental agency. Select Board members said that access to a physical storefront was a major factor in their decision, and multiple applicants had suggested they would like to use space at the airport.

The Pi Pizzeria property at 11 West Creek Road and the business's staff housing unit at 41.5 Nobadeer Farm Road were listed for sale together this week at $12.5 million. A New York woman died last week after being struck and run over by the driver of an SUV in the downtown Stop & Shop parking lot. Stacey J. Rosen, 62, of Atlantic Beach, NY, was walking in the parking lot on Monday, June 29th, around 1:25 p.m., when she was struck by the driver of a Rivian SUV. Rosen had to be removed from underneath the vehicle by first responders and was rushed to Nantucket Cottage Hospital.
