Mechanical Property Research for CSIP Thin-Wall Box-Beams
Abstract : Composite structural insulated panels (CSIPs) are eco-friendly, high-performance materials, which not only good have mechanical properties, but also good waterproof, moisture-proof, fire-proof, and anti-corrosion characteristics, so they have been used to build envelope structures in recent years. However, how to improve stiffness of CSIPs remains unsolved. The poor stiffness is one of the biggest obstacles for the application of CSIPs in the load-bearing members of civil engineering.
