News is instantaneous. Which is awesome - we can tell better stories with an expanded reach. Like it or not, errors are also caught.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It's the fourth estate -- it's being a watch dog. It's telling stories that help people. It's finding solutions that make a difference.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Tweet me. I probably won't answer my phone.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
My iPhone is my most important and favorite tool.
What's your favorite social network?
Personally, Twitter. But our reach for news is larger on Facebook - so we plan a lot of strategy around our Facebook audience.
Why did you become a journalist?
To tell good stories.

Our KSL Interactive series - making news interactive without making it annoying.

Be everywhere, but specialize too.
