A dedicated and skilled multimedia journalist, I have experience in several fields of journalism, including editing and writing entertainment and news (for newspapers, magazines and online platforms), anchoring and reporting for a television network (including video editing and script writing), photography (including photo editing and graphic design) and public and media relations for both nation- and university-wide organizations.
My specific experiences include interviews with high-profile individuals such as Mark Hamill, Laurie Metcalf and Jenny McCarthy, as well as interviewing musicians and discussing music news on live broadcast television, and working to develop large-scale communications plans to promote diversity and academic excellence.
My reach with the projects mentioned above has also been very wide. my reader- and viewership has ranged from 30,000 to over 1 million people, and my public relations projects have reached similar numbers, indicating my ability to write and communicate publicly with a large audience.
