Nathan Howes’s Biography
Originally hailing from Orillia, Ont., I graduated from Sheridan College’s print journalism course with High Honours in 2011.
I began my career working as a freelance/contract community newspaper reporter for several Metroland Media publications (Oakville Beaver, North Oakville Today, Burlington Post, Milton Canadian Champion) for nine years. In that time, I covered a wide range of topics including politics, local issues, environment, history, arts/entertainment and sports. I have interviewed a number of high-profile figures including John Tory, Bob Rae, Peter Mansbridge, Patrick Brown and Tim Hudak.
I joined The Weather Network in 2019. I currently cover breaking news, weather, environment and climate.
