What was your first job as a journalist?
Community newspaper reporter. It was a summer internship with The Oakville Beaver in 2010.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not. I worked for the college newspaper and website (Sheridan Sun), however, as a news reporter and editor.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
Hard to say. I've received a lot of them in the last 12 years. There's been so many excellent pitches.
What's your favorite drink?
Coffee.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Outside, whether it's taking a hike, on the water fishing or at a golf course. I love spending time in the outdoors. I also enjoy concerts.
