Nathan Kensinger is a journalist, photographer, filmmaker and artist based in New York City. His work has been featured in the New York Times, PBS NewsHour, and National Public Radio. He previously wrote a column of waterfront photo essays for Curbed/Vox Media (2012-2020) and is now a freelance environmental journalist, with bylines appearing at Gothamist/WNYC (2020-present).
