Ms. Rondon has covered healthcare, beauty, fitness, profiles, business, wellness, child/teen issues, senior citizen topics, multicultural, relationships, collectibles, spas, bridal, interior and landscape design, fashion, restaurants/fine dining, and general lifestyle topics for numerous consumer and professional publications and websites. The author of two hard-cover, non-fiction books, she has been the editor-in-chief of NEW BODY, a national health and fitness magazine; group managing editor at Lifestyle Publications, publisher of consumer teen magazines; and New York editor of STUDIO INTERNATIONAL, a European-based luxury beauty publication. In addition to authoring, ghostwriting and copy editing for publications with diverse readerships (from children to seniors), she has done marketing and promotional projects for numerous individual and corporate clients, as well as call-to-action fundraising, advocacy and program education writing for not-for-profit organizations.
She is the former editor of BC THE MAG, a regional luxury lifestyle magazine, as well as editor-at-large and community outreach specialist for the NYC-based nonprofit ART BEYOND SIGHT.
Currently, she is a contributing writer to several print and online publications for which she covers topics such as home design, beauty, lifestyle, parenting, arts and culture, new products and services, restaurant reviews, parenting, healthcare, and personality profiles. Since 2005, she has been senior writer for a boutique copywriting and communications company specializing in the dental/medical field for professional and consumer audiences.
Bilingual in Spanish, she does translation, writing and editing projects for diverse clients, which range from website copy translation for small e-commerce sites to promotional marketing pieces for companies such as DeVries Global and Procter & Gamble.
Ms. Rondon is a graduate of Syracuse University’s S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and holds a Master’s degree in Spanish Literature from New York University.
The proud mom of an amazing daughter, Ms. Rondon has written a weekly parenting blog as well as numerous feature articles and educational supplement materials for several children’s publishers. The author of the children’s fiction book ALI AND THE NEW GIRL ¡HOLA MI AMIGA!, she is currently offering talks related to the book’s themes of anti-bullying, and multicultural and intergenerational inclusion at schools, libraries, special needs centers, and senior assisted living homes.
