Private equity is on track to own your favorite college football team, your local dentist, your plumbing company, the rental houses in your neighborhood, your vet, and basically every place you spend money.

Trying to post the link from my IPhone for some reason made the rest of my post difficult. Anyways… So Texas State leaves and ECU joins the Belt? It honestly would make no sense. We would have to pay north of $18M to exit the American only to have a lower media payout (much mower, as in dropping from $7M to at least as low as $2M annually). The conference is worse in basketball, no better than equal in football and while it’s better in baseball… it just would not make sense.

I rejoined on Monday, at the Skull & Crossbones level. I did not purchase tickets last year (44 year old first time father- and it’s awesome) but will be going with the three game mini pack this year and likely will be in Raleigh for the State game. I also got an ECU alum to sign up at $120. We can sell folks on the payment of $10 (or more, per month) and get more folks into the fold. When I spoke with Will in the PC, he said that they were slammed with calls.
