Author Correction: Polygenic adaptation: a unifying framework to understand positive selection
Nature Reviews Genetics (2020) https://doi.org/10.1038/s41576-020-0250-z Published online 29 June 2020 The Supplementary information of this article has been updated to correct some errors in the simulation parameters. In the ‘fitness function’ column the trait optimum for the ‘3c-d’ and ‘3e-f’ rows has been corrected, and fitness function values are now included for the ‘3h’ column. The ‘&’ footnote has been updated to indicate that it refers also to figures 3a and 3b, not just figure 3h.
Polygenic adaptation: a unifying framework to understand positive selection - Nature Reviews Genetics
Abstract Most adaption processes have a polygenic genetic basis, but even with the recent explosive growth of genomic data we are still lacking a unified framework describing the dynamics of selected alleles. Building on recent theoretical and empirical work we introduce the concept of adaptive architecture, which extends the genetic architecture of an adaptive trait by factors influencing its adaptive potential and population genetic principles.
