Preparation of Epoxy Inks The base epoxy ink was prepared by mixing ten parts of EPON 828 (Hexion Inc.) with six parts of Epikure 3380 (Hexion Inc.). This was mixed in a Thinky-Conditioning mixer (Model ARE – 250, THINKY USA Inc.) for 2 min and defoamed for 2 min at 2000 rpm.
